God’s Word Unbound

The advance of the gospel is often an uphill battle. Hostile ideologies, persecution, and the burdens of life in a fallen world appear to hinder the spread of God’s Word to those who are starving for it.

However, Scripture speaks with clarity when the apostle Paul writes, “… I endure hardship even to chains as a criminal. But the word of God has not been chained” (2 Timothy 2:9 LSB).

God’s Word cannot be restrained—and nowhere is this more evident than in the human heart. His Word always accomplishes what He purposes (Isaiah 55:11).

The more that the world tries to oppose the truth, the more the Lord strengthens His people, and their convictions in His Word are deepened. Ultimately, the world is unable to hinder transformation in the heart of the redeemed.

And from the heart of the redeemed rises a steadfastness to proclaim the truth regardless of circumstances.

Even in chains, the apostle Paul bore witness to this reality. Though imprisoned, the gospel continued to advance, and he remained obedient to preach Christ without compromise (Acts 20–28).

So, we too must be faithful to proclaim it.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Throughout the world, faithful men are striving to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, just as Christ commanded (Matthew 28:18–20).

The Master’s Academy International (TMAI) exists for this very purpose: that all nations would hear the name of Christ, and come to seek, love, and serve Him

TMAI trains indigenous church leaders to be approved pastor-teachers, able to equip their local churches to make biblically sound disciples.

Currently, there are 19 TMAI Training Centers equipping men in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Over 8,000 + graduates are serving around the world—many in regions marked by persecution, instability, and spiritual famine.

Yet, across these regions, there is a ravenous hunger—not just for the preaching of the Word, but for the transforming power of the truth.

Each summer, we take a week to pray for each of these regions.

WHY WE PRAY

Together We Pray is our annual summer prayer event.

We take this opportunity to pray as individuals alongside our ministry partners and together as local church congregations. It’s a dedicated time for individuals and church congregations to unite in prayer, as we are commanded (2 Thessalonians 3:1).

For one week, each day we will focus specifically on the Training Centers of one region— praying for the men being trained, that the Word they proclaim would transform the hearts and lives of those they serve.

The world is starving—desperate for the only thing that can redeem and satisfy.

So, we lift these men and their families up to our Lord together in prayer.

Our theme for Together We Pray 2026 is Unhindered: The Word Unbound, the Gospel Proclaimed

God’s will and Word are not bound by human circumstance. Nothing can limit or restrict the influence enabled by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we do not yield. We stand. And we take up “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17).

And we fight as we are commanded: praying at all times with all prayer and petition in the Spirit for the saints (v.18).

This is how the church advances—not by human strength, but by faithful proclamation and dependent prayer.

So, we pray for open doors, proclaim without compromise, and trust the Lord to accomplish His will (Colossians 4:3). Here, we see that prayer is the key that God has given the church to partner in His will, to pray expectantly for it, and to then glorify Him when His will is accomplished.

What we are witnessing is not the result of strategy, but of God’s work—answering prayer and meeting a deep spiritual hunger with the truth of His Word.

In His grace, God invites us to pray—not in order to accomplish His will, but to align our hearts with it, to witness His work, and to give Him glory.

Plan Two

JULY 19 AND 26, 2026

Rally your church to pray with us.

  • It is our joy for local churches worldwide to meet and uniquely partner with us in prayer. Whether 10 or 30 minutes, we invite churches, for one Sunday, to engage in corporate prayer for TMAI training centers and global regions of most interest to them.

Ideas to rally your church to pray:

    • Dedicate time before, during, or after your church service—either breaking into groups or having someone lead the congregation collectively.

    • Focus all or a portion of Sunday School on prayer.

  • Your church will receive Prayer Guide Booklets* containing key prayer requests and other information from our Training Centers in a format suitable for personal and corporate prayer. This guide will assist you in praying individually, with your church, or with a small group.

    * Sign-ups received after May 30th will receive their Prayer Guide Booklet in electronic form, readable on a computer or handheld device, rather than in print.

An Invitation to You

When it comes to the Great Commission, no one is exempt. Whether one is a missionary or mother, pastor or student, all Christians are called to partner in prayer for the advance of the gospel among the nations.

God is at work, so please join us in prayer as we witness the unfolding His plan of redemption and the building of His church.
